PGC operates in the HR and technology space as a complete workforce management platform. We help companies engage with workers in all 50 states and Canada, and are an ideal partner for startups and companies expanding into or across North America.
We manage our clients back-office functions including payroll, taxes, insurance, benefits, contracts, and day-to-day HR matters. We are privately-funded, have our own custom-built software, Precision, have offices in both London and NYC, and have had significant growth over the last 12 months with even more on the horizon.
The Position
This role spearheads the management of our international clients and workforce experience, helping them navigate US/Canadian employment. Based in our New York office, you’ll report to the VP of Client Engagement and work alongside the Experience Team.
Primary Responsibilities
You will be working alongside our VP of Client Engagement Shatana, who explains what a day in the life of the Client Engagement team is like in the video below. The day to day responsibilities of the role will include:
Operationalize
Provide post-sale, operational and relational account management support to clients, including onboarding, and timely responses to key customer support requests
Advise clients on day-to-day workforce HR issues and strategic operational challenges
Manage HR items and provide a proactive experience from onboarding to benefits administration and offboarding
Implement internal process change, working cross-functionally to streamline processes
Manage
Facilitate a proactive client relationship by having an in-depth understanding of our client’s goals and health, anticipating potential issues, and providing unprompted support that continually improves our clients experience and furthers their success
Conduct regular health checks and growth assessments to enable client’s growth
Utilize creative/analytical thinking to identify complex problems and create simple solutions that scale
Enable
Develop key client resource materials and external communications
Conduct training sessions with clients on workforce compliance and business opportunities, and provide industry insights and compliance guidance
Drive relationships
Prioritize, manage and own emerging and developing key customer risks/issues from start to finish to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns
Build relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations
You (skills/attributes/experience)
Role - 2+ years of experience in customer/client-facing roles eg AM, BD, CS, Customer Experience, Client Op’s, or HR Generalist
Industry – experience ideally in the HR/staffing sector, SaaS, or start-up experience, role suits someone with a desire to work for a boutique company. You’re Tech-savvy and have experience with CRM software, MS Office, proprietary tech platforms, and CS ticketing systems
Education - Preferred Bachelor’s or Masters BA/BS degree in Business Administration, HR, Operations Management or relevant field
Customer Success – You’re passionate about helping others and possess a strong sense of empathy with experience delivering client-focused solutions and proven track record of going over and above to meet client needs
Time management – You enjoy balancing multiple projects, and can prioritize well while maintaining sharp attention to detail, have a heart for accuracy/excellence, and are able to provide honest, unbiased assessments of situations
Communication – Personable and able to relationally communicate to stakeholders at all levels, including C-level. Engaging written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex terms simply
Innovative - Process solutions logically to objectively troubleshoot and innovatively resolve situations. You utilize creative thinking to create solutions that scale
Adaptability - Are an emotionally-intelligent people person who enjoys engaging with others and has a level-headed, positive approach to (even challenging) situations, you thrive in an adaptable, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
Professional Development (PD) - Quick learner with a desire for continuous improvement who seeks out feedback and takes ownership of personal PD
Compensation, Benefits and Perks
Salary - Base of $58,000 to $65,000 pending experience

PTO - 20 days paid time off plus select holidays
Hours - Full-time exempt position, 9am - 6pm, Monday – Friday, late shifts (until 9:30pm ET) may be required occasionally.58
Travel - Occasional travel may be required between PGC offices and to client sites
